Say Gay // Unisex Hoodie

This original Say Gay design was created as a direct response to the rise in anti-gay and anti-trans legislation that began being introduced in early 2022. Primarily sparked by new attention around HB 1557 in Florida – which aims to criminalize speaking about LGBTQIA2+ people and our experiences.
One of the reasons that I make the artwork that I do, because I remember what it was like to have to stare down that kind of hatred. And I want to make work that makes a difference, that makes the world a better place, a more equitable place for ALL of us.
